 What is the first thing that comes to mind when you hear the word ekklesia? Not sure? No idea? That’s why we’re doing this series. Because it’s important, even vital, to revisit things from time to time in order to keep them fresh on our minds and close to our hearts. You actually are very familiar with ekklesia, well….maybe. Ekklesia is the what the first Christians called church. In fact, ekklesia means church. But for them, ekklesia wasn’t somewhere they went, it was something they were. Join us as we explore what God always intended ekklesia (aka The Church) to be; it’s purpose, it’s mission, and it’s focus. This series is not about re-defining “The Church”. It is not about re-inventing “The Church”. It’s about re-visiting what the Bible teaches God always intended “The Church” to be.
