Our Mission:: Transforming lives by helping people take their next steps with God.
Our Core Values::
• The Bible is our foundation and catalyst to create a God-honoring, culturally relevant community. II Timothy 3:16-17
• Non-Christians are important to God and should be important to the church. John 3:16-17; Luke 19:10
• God intends all believers to be actively engaged in a life-long process of discipleship and spiritual formation. Acts 2:42; Colossians 2:7
• God has designed the church to function according to spiritual gifts. I Corinthians 12:7-11; Ephesians 4:11
• God created people to participate in dynamic, life-changing worship encouraged through the creative use of the arts. Matthew 22:37; I Chronicles 16:29; Psalm 150:1-5
Our Statement of Faith:: All members of the Board of Elders, as well as all paid Staff members of Crossbridge Community Church (C3), shall adhere without reservation to the following statement of faith:
- We believe the Bible to be the only inspired, fully trustworthy, authoritative Word of God.
- We believe that there is one God, who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
- We believe that Jesus was both God and man, born of a virgin, and lived a sinless life. He was crucified and died as a penalty for our sins and was bodily resurrected from the dead on the third day. He ascended to the Father’s right hand, from where he is coming again to personally claim his bride (the church).
- We believe that man is born with sin and is separated from God. Man’s connection with God is renewed through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- We believe that God’s Spirit lives in all Christ Followers enabling them to live a life that pleases God. He fills and refills Christ Followers in response to their submitting to God’s will. We believe the Holy Spirit was given for us to minister to needs both inside and outside of the church. We believe in the spiritual unity of Christ Followers.
- We believe that there is a literal heaven and hell and that each person will spend eternity in one or the other; either in heaven with God or in hell separated from God. We believe that a person’s eternal destination is dependent upon their relationship with God’s Son, Jesus Christ.
