CWM exists to provide opportunities for women to develop both their friendships with each other and with their God. At Crossbridge, we believe we are meant to live in community and it is in that setting that we find friendship, support, challenge, and resources. CWM provides another source of community living. Four main areas of emphasis are offered, each with a different level of involvement and we believe that you can find a place that fits your style! You choose! If you are a registered user, check out some CWM pics here!

At Crossbridge we believe that the Bible is our guide for daily living. Women only Bible studies are currently offered twice a year. These provide opportunity for personal growth, group interaction and prayer support. The current format used is a video series accompanied by student workbook. Registration for the fall session begins Sunday August 17 and will continue through August 31 at the Info Center. We will be doing Beth Moore's series "Living Beyond Yourself"; a study on the fruits of the Spirit. Your $20.00 registration covers your workbook, tax and shipping. This will be held at the Ameriprise Financial Services offices at 3516-C Stellhorn Road. The series will be offered Wednesdays at 7:00 pm beginning Sept. 10 and concluding Nov. 12. If you have never done a study like this, you can check out both a sample workbook page and a sample presentation at www.lifeway.org and follow the Beth Moore Resources link.

Have you ever read a book and wondered about a certain theme, symbolism or just wanted to know what other people thought about it? Our Women's Ministry book club offers an informal setting to discuss a wide range of books; fiction, self-help, inspirational, or biography. Take your pick! This month we are reading Charles Dickens, "A Christmas Carol". Discussion will take place Monday, December 8th at the downtown Starbucks (502 W Jefferson). New book lists are available at the info center (just look for the fluorescent colored bookmarks!). Most of these books are available at the public library - grab the list and put the book(s) you desire on hold!

When conferences, concerts and seminars are in our area, we'll help you get the details and your registration! Another special event is our current Service Project. We recently collected used eyeglasses, sunglasses and readers to forward on to "Unite for Sight" which is an agency that coordinates vision clinics in Africa, Central America and US innercities. Thanks to your generosity, 104 pairs of eyeglasses are on their way to Sierra Leone in West Africa by way of the volunteers at Unite for Sight.
