God designed our lives to be lived with rhythm and flow. It’s His way to combat the busyness of life, to meet with us, to refresh our body, mind and spirit, and to put us back together on a regular basis. After all, who isn’t busy? Who doesn’t need wider “margins” in life just to catch a breath? It seems like our life runs us instead of us running our lives. During the series Rhythm and Flow we’ll investigate if there’s another way to do life other than at 100 mph in every direction.
Most of us want our lives to count, but making a difference in the world seems so ambiguous doesn’t it? As Christ Followers, shouldn’t we be a reflection of who God is? We’re not talking perfection, but shouldn’t the next steps we take with God move us closer to His likeness. Sounds logical enough. So, what will move us closer to a truer reflection of Him and what He invites us to be? It comes down to values, because we ruthlessly defend, protect, chase, and invest in that which we value most.
