Our lives are comprised of the steps we take. Accidental or intentional, each step we take is a journey we can walk with God. "Steps" is a two week journey to discover how God has been with us each step of the way and how to trust him with each step we will take in the future.
With all the glitz and glitter of the Christmas season also come the headaches and hassles. Trying to find just the right gift for everyone, fitting in all the programs and parties, a visit to the in-laws, Christmas morning mayhem, slapping on your Christmas cheer because after all, “Tis the season!”...and when it’s all said and done, you’re left with, “How do I pay for all of this?” Maybe this season you don’t feel much like celebrating. Maybe the thought has crossed your mind once or twice, “What if we just canceled Christmas this year?” But maybe this holiday is just what your spirit needs to be refreshed. Maybe it’s more about how you do Christmas this year versus if you do it. Join us for this three week series designed to cause us to pause and reflect how we celebrate this year.

Do you ever look at someone you care about and think, “If they could just get a handle on this one area of their life, things could be so much better for them?” Usually the root changes that are needed are internal things – attitudes, character traits, values. What if you said the same thing about yourself? What if there are areas in your life needing change? If you could pray one prayer for yourself, what would it be? Would it be a simple, humble prayer like “God, make me….”? What effect would that have on our church and our community?
Join us on Sundays in September as we ask God to make us unselfish, passionate, intentional people.
Over the last five weeks we’ve been exploring what the next steps for Crossbridge Community Church look like as we step out in faith and risk to build The Hub, a place to do ministry 6 ½ other days of the week. We’ve explored in depth the lives of biblical legends who God stretched, and in doing so He changed the future of a nation, the destiny of entire race, the faith of an unlikely hero, and the world as we know it. Now, on Commitment Sunday, it’s our turn to go "All-In". It’s time to see what God will do thru us if we dare to dream of what could be; if we allow God to work beyond ourselves and realize our need to depend on God for a miracle; if we step out in risk and faith to trade up from our dreams to God’s bigger dreams for Crossbridge. This week we’re going to celebrate as we mark this moment in the life of Crossbridge with our commitments to God as part of the six.five Capital Campaign.
