As we launch our building project for The Hub on our Hursh Rd. property, Crossbridge is taking what the leadership believes are our biggest "next steps" together since we went portable in 2002! We hope you will see this next phase of our journey together as an opportunity to see God do something in you and through you like you have never seen before. "six.five" is our 3½ year Capital Campaign whose primary focus is to raise funds to build The Hub, with its secondary focus to make portable improvements as necessary. This is a bigger vision than we can accomplish on our own. But as we step forward in an attitude of faith, we trust God will meet the needs of His church. It has always been the vision of Crossbridge to have maximum impact and influence on people’s lives for the cause of Christ. As we continue meeting at the YMCA on Sunday mornings, The Hub will give us the time and space we need the other "six.five" days of the week to enhance our impact and influence. The cost of The Hub is approximately $1.15 million. We currently have $200,000 left in the bank from previous capital campaigns, leaving $950,000 that we still need to raise to pay for this next step at Crossbridge. We would love to move into The Hub with the building paid off. However, a more realistic goal is to raise $560,000 through the "six.five" Capital Campaign ($200,000 of this goal is needed by March 1, 2009 as a "down payment", and the remaining $360,000 is needed over the following three years in order to make the "mortgage payments"). Join us throughout the "six.five" Campaign series as we explore and stretch to see what God will do when we partner with His vision for His people and His church. If you happen to miss a Sunday morning, be sure to check out our "six.five" series online where you can listen to and even watch any of the services during this series. These are exciting days at Crossbridge. As Crossbridge is taking next steps, our hope is that Crossbridgers will take them with us. As part of the "six.five" Leadership Team, we would be more than happy to meet with anyone individually who would like to ask more questions. |
