This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it Principle Responsibilities are: to direct programming and curriculum to help the children of Crossbridge become forever friends with Jesus Christ and to grow their relationship with Him more deeply, to develop volunteers and leaders who model Jesus Christ to the children and who develop relationships with the kids under their care. quick newsflash:: kids (sports, activities, homework), taxi driver, working out at the “Y”, love reading, “neatnik”, pro football (only the Packers!), cooking/baking, watching movies when I can fit it in I hope heaven includes:: clean mansions, all my family and friends, Sprite, Casa restaurants, Krispy Kreme donuts, lots of books, Coney Island chili dogs best childhood memories:: shopping on Saturdays with Mom, buying Pee Wee dolls at K-mart, fishing and mushroom hunting with Dad, hanging out with Grandma Ollie, swimming at the local pool, watching Little House on the Prairie and Mission Impossible the home team:: I have four great kids who I enjoy spending time with immensely. They keep me very busy, but they are the best! I hooked up with my husband, Kevin, as freshmen in high school. Yes, we were high school sweethearts! God has blessed our family and I look forward to traveling the path He has prepared for us together. what makes my world go around:: my kids sports activities, God’s Word, email, my cell phone, my calendar, watching movies with my kids, reading to my kids, cookies with peanut butter chips, peanuts, Sprite good verse to live by:: "Trust in the Lord with all of your heart and lean not on your own understanding; but in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your path straight. " Proverbs 3:5-6 blueprints:: I believe God has designed me to work closely with children and their families as they journey along a path towards Christ. I don’t believe that I am an expert at this; I just try to let God use me to do His work. I must admit that I sometimes get ahead of God and do things my own way or more quickly than I should. This is part of my journey. God has taught me patience and continues to offer me endurance and strength. "I can do everything through Him who gives me strength." Philippians 4:13 cohorts:: I work with a bunch of goofballs (except Roxanne) born:: Viroqua, Wisconsin born there, lived there:: lived in Wisconsin until 1986, lived in Fort Wayne from 1986 – present no thanks, I’d rather not:: eat split pea soup, listen to rap music, drink diet pop, run out of hot water when taking a shower, scuba dive (sharks – yikes!) fears:: spiders (especially squishing them), snakes, having friends and family not being Christians, seeing my family in pain journey:: to stay on track with the path that God has laid before me as I walk with my family and the people I come into contact with daily someday:: go to Hawaii, go on a Disney Cruise with my family, hold my grandchildren (but not too soon), write a children’s book, shop at the Mall of America, own a lake cottage, take a “reading” vacation, drive a dump truck when I grow up:: teacher, secretary (because I wanted to be like Mom), author of children’s books, a mom I wonder:: Why do kids wake up really early on Saturdays and try to sleep in on school days? |
