quick take on:: love anything involving kids (mine or other people's), enjoy laughing especially with really funny people

other than work :: love being outside, enjoy hanging out with friends while our kids play together, love going grown-up places with my husband

I'd like to say to the people of Crossbridge:: We are all on the journey of life together, seeking Christ's personal adventure for each of us. I feel so blessed to have each one of you placed in my life. I value the life lessons I learn from everyone, from Pastor Dan's challenging and encouraging teaching to the adorable babies in Dozers that reflect the hope of Christ!

transforming experiences:: missions trips and teaching jobs that showed me the broken lives and hearts that many children have today. This was followed later in life with God-given disgust for anything less than my complete devotion to sharing His love and grace with every child placed in my path.

my awakening:: coming to the realization that my faith needs to be exhibited in each area of my life, not simply reserved for the areas I am comfortable releasing to God. He wants all of me and anything less is disobedience.

good verse to live by:: "Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord, trust in Him and He will do this." Psalm 37:4-5

For me - Delighting in the Lord means chasing after His Spirit with passion with the goal of knowing Him fully, committing your way to Him and trusting Him. When we do these things and surrender completely, He gives us the desire of our heart (that desire being, knowing Christ more and becoming like Him).

purpose:: first, to see each of my children to come to know Christ as their personal Savior and raise them to be Spirit-filled, fun-loving individuals. secondly, to share the love of Christ and the joy of life with Him with kids and their families.

other little known facts about me:: I have 2 different colored eyes, I married my high-school sweetheart, I am related to Benjamin Franklin (don't you see the resemblence!?)

best childhood memories :: growing up in the country, riding for miles on family bike-rides, seeing my Dad's sensitive heart for Christ as he cried each Sunday during hymn-singing time at church (I guess that is where I get all my tears from)

family life and partner in crime :: I have a wonderful husband who gives me the love and encouragement that I need everyday and who still makes my heart skip a beat (even though I don't admit it often enough to him). I have two energetic sons and an adorable daughter that keep me on my toes and give me a small glimpse of the love God has for us, His children.

faves, raves & obsessions :: Chick Flicks, Crossbridge Worship Team, anything chocolate and peanut butter, Reality TV (although lately the ideas they come up with for shows are getting a little out of control), my kids
