balance beam web.jpgEvery four years we spend two weeks amazed by some of the world’s best athletes as they compete in the Olympics.  Some of the most exciting moments come while watching a gymnast flipping her way down an apparatus that is only four inches wide.  It’s amazing!  But every once in a while, one of these highly trained athletes pushes the envelope so far, they end up falling off the beam.  But with a Gold Medal in mind, some of the world’s smallest athletes take some of the sport’s biggest risks.  It’s disheartening when they fail, yet inspiring at the same time.  What if we applied the same principles in our spiritual journey?  The idea of risk.  Of course, we might fail sometimes.  But the only thing more discouraging than failing, is being so afraid we never attempt anything beyond the status quo.  Join us for this three week series as we look at places where taking a risk in life would lead to more inspired living.
