Mirrors. Love ‘em or hate ‘em, they tell the truth. Ugly or beautiful, a mirror tells it like it is. That’s because a mirror simply reflects whatever is looking into it. As Christ Followers, shouldn’t we be a reflection of who God is? We’re not talking perfection, but shouldn’t the next steps we take with God move us closer to His likeness. Sounds logical enough. So, what will move us closer to a truer reflection of Him and what He invites us to be? It comes down to values, because we ruthlessly defend, protect, chase, and invest in that which we value most.
