Making sure children are safe is a priority at Crossbridge. Our procedures for security include:
-
On your child's first Sunday in Bridge Kids, you will need to check-in at the BK 1 computer kiosk. After giving the volunteer the needed data, you will receive name badge(s) for your child(ren) and guardian badges for you to take to adult service.
-
Each Sunday, thereafter, you may go to any computer kiosk to sign in your children. Each child needs to have a name badge before entering a BK area. Each child is randomly assigned an alphanumeric code by the computer. This code is only printed on the name and guardian badge. This code changes each week. Any changes that need to be made in data for your family, must be done at the BK 1 computer kiosk.
-
If we need to notify you during service, your 3 digit family code (also printed on your guardian badge) will appear on the digital screen in service.
-
To pick up your child, present your guardian badge at the classroom door of your child's BK area. The child's teacher will match your badge code to your child's name badge. If you misplace your guardian badge, you will
need to return to the computer and ask for your badge to be reprinted. You will be asked to show picture identification to reprint a guardian badge.
-
The Zone (4/5 grades) may sign in at a computer kiosk to get their name badge independently. They need to have a name badge before entering a BK area, but don't need to be picked up by an adult after service.
-
All Bridge Kids volunteers have gone through a police background screening. Volunteers should be wearing a BK photo id badge. If you need to enter a ministry area, you will be asked to sign-in as a visitor and receive a visitor badge.
